Data Science for Social Good is an internship program in which interdisciplinary groups of students help non-profit organizations improve their operations by analyzing data. I partnered with the United Way of Greater Atlanta’s 2-1-1 Call Center to reduce caller hold time and agent handle time. I utilized Excel to clean, filter, and interpret raw data from 3.25 million calls from the past ten years. Based on the call data analysis, I redesigned the current call menu to increase caller satisfaction and enhance data entry. At the conclusion of the internship, I used Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher to present the potential optimizations and results of the data analysis.

I analyzed the acoustical characteristics of 3D printed objects using impedance tube testing and 3D modeling and printing.
