Represented clients in complex commercial litigation at the trial and appellate level in state and federal courts and before government agencies. Experience in mediation and arbitration disputes, including international matters run by the ICDR on breach of contract actions. Represented nationally-based and local clients in commercial leasing and transactions from conducting due diligence to post-closing matters. Represented both sellers and buyers of commercial property. Experience included related financing and construction matters for architects, developers, individuals and financial institutions.

Representation included contract negotiations, review of FOIA requests, attendance and counsel at meetings for Zoning and Planning Board, City Council, Historic District Commission and Board of Appeals and appeals before the civil service board.

Represented clients in complex class actions involving products liability, toxic tort, and mass tort insurance defense issues including workplace and occupational exposures, industrial accidents and releases, and asbestos and toxic tort exposure claims.

Rebecca's practice is concentrated in real estate development, working with developers, investors and financial institutions in all aspects of the acquisition, development, sale and financing of commercial, industrial and mixed-use property, multi-family housing, affordable housing projects, construction lending, mezzanine financing, bridge financing, syndicated loans, securitized financing, like-kind exchanges and leasing matters. She has experience with federally insured and guaranteed financing transactions, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Section 8 contracts and TOPA law. Rebecca also has broad complex commercial litigation experience at the trial and appellate level in state and federal courts and before governmental agencies and assists clients with trademark and service mark searches, registration and oppositions.
