I am Ravindra Kishore, qualified Mechanical Engineer empowering 22+ years of experience. Over these years, I have held responsibilities at various capacities in array of functions spanning across project management, maintenance management, process improvement, spare parts management, machine management, etc. In my present association with Shree Rama Newsprint Limited, Surat as Senior Manager-Mechanical, I am primarily involved in the scheduling and planning predictive, preventive and breakdown maintenance jobs. I have gained extensive experience in project and maintenance of large size paper machines, flotation dinking plants, pulp mill & effluent treatment plant. I was acknowledged for successful erection & commissioning of Paper Machine No.1 of capacity 230 TPD, Paper Machine No.2 of capacity 280 TPD and Flotation Deinking Plant No.2 of capacity 150 TPD in Rama Newsprint & Papers Ltd., Surat. I pride myself for effectively managing maintenance of Paper Machine No. 2; Flotation Deinking Plants and Effluent treatment plant in Shree Rama Newsprint Limited, Surat; performed fabrication of evaporators, LTI reactor, liquor tanks & pipelines with in Murli Industries Limited, Vadoda, Nagpur. I am proficient in handling multiple activities involving working out various requirements with respect to machines, manpower & monitoring overall plant operations for ensuring completion of work within defined time, cost and quality parameters. Proactive, hard working and committed, defines me as a professional. Challenges and career progression motivates me to perform better. I am primarily involved in the scheduling and planning predictive, preventive and breakdown maintenance jobs. My key roles involve managing maintenance of plant including all maintenance activities like shut down jobs; implementing modifications/expansion projects with effective application of project management techniques. On day to day basis I plan, schedule and execute shutdown maintenance with minimum production stoppages; troubleshoot breakdowns; monitor condition of equipments, identify weak areas and initiate advance action to prevent major mishaps; carry out root cause analysis of problems to come out with its permanent solution. I impart training on various elements of maintenance; ensure compliance to regulatory & statutory requirements of Govt. Authorities and HSE standards; document maintenance history of machines /equipments & effectively utilize records to hasten breakdown solution. Implement power saving measures across organization for better profitability & reducing wastage. Apart from this I map consumption pattern of spares and arrange procurement thereof to maintain a reasonable inventory of critical spares to quickly address maintenance issues; conceptualize strategic & operational plans for process improvement and development and provide product and process engineering support. Also I look after other responsibilities pertaining to handling of plant expenses on monthly basis & take initiative in controlling maintenance expenses for avoiding unwanted wastage; oversee all phases of project execution; approve engineering/design changes, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, consistently meeting project deadlines and highest possible quality standards. I handle the erection, installation, testing & maintenance of field instruments including preparation of instrument layouts for the project as per the process needs. I am accountable for operation, maintenance, fabrication and commissioning of new equipments.
