Helping Oak portfolio companies on an on-demand basis on their strategies for operating in India. Between 2003 and 2010, was also helping Oak drive their investment plans for India. Sat on the boards of Oak portfolio companies Talisma Corporation, Evident Software India, and Aventail Info Tech; was an alternate director of Tikona Digital Networks, and on the advisory board of EquaTerra.

Assisting the Judge Business School on its plans for engaging with Indian companies on their issues around strategic business transformation. In particular, helping JBS kickstart a unique initiative to work with a forum of SME companies using systematic and disciplined management approaches to help strengthen their ability to deal with company-specific opportunities or threats.

Infotech Enterprises provides leading-edge engineering solutions, including product development and life-cycle support, process, network and content engineering to major organizations worldwide.

Took over Oracle’s Asia-Pacific product support organisation, merging it with Oracle’s India Global Support Center. Helped define and drive Oracle's global electronic delivery model, putting an emphasis on customer self-service and proactive management.

Set up and grew Oracle Corporation's software development center in India, with full product life cycle projects. Oversaw all aspects of the center, from HR, facilities, system administration and finance to strategic planning and critical projects; was also involved in setting up multiple other operating units for Oracle, including consulting, shared services, tele-sales, support. In 1998, also took over startup and growth of a new location in Hyderabad focussed on Application products, and in 2001 took charge of the India Global Support Center, with locations in Hyderabad and Bangalore. By 2003, Oracle had 3,000 employees working in global roles from India.

Designed, developed and launched one of the very first Windows-based shrink-wrapped packages out of India. Niche market product sold primarily in the US and Canada.

Managed a software development company focused on projects for the international market. Did the business development to establish Technosoft as Bell Northern Research and Northern Telecom's first software partner in India. Also established the company as a distributor for CAD, GIS and numerical analysis packages in India.

Helped start up HP's operations in India, responsible for the computer marketplace. Put together the business plan for the Indian computer market that convinced HP Corp's board of directors to commit to the Indian market and manufacture the newly-launched PA RISC architecture in India. Co-managed the first major computer/networking deal for HP in India - the networking, servers, workstations and PCs for the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
