As a young lead engineer (I was 17 when I started at Amarex, which was eventually acquired by Comverse) I helped design and develop the audio/application provisioning system for the NGSN system, which was responsible for moving voice applications and audio files in a reliable fashion around a heavily redundant and highly available phone network.
