* A Manufacturing company that caters to sectors of Windmill and Rail Transportation (Metros and Railways). * Highlights * Represented the company and participated in Quality Month Celebration Program at Faiveley Transport Rail Technologies India Limited. * Represented QA in a team on a plant visit to Kosan Crisplant in Sri Lanka to understand the Client requirements and to improve the quality of products supplied. * Roles and Responsibilities * Played an active role in securing EN 15085-2, CL 1 Welding certification for the company. * Maintained records complying with ISO 9001 Quality standards. * Prepared Control Plans and PFC. Involved in PPAP during New Developments. * Coordinated with Production, Engineering departments and prepared Work Instructions for main assemblies. * Interacted with clients to address quality complaints and resolved them. * Performed In-process and Final Inspection following the product job card.

* Roles and Responsibilities * Collected inspection data, rework and rejection percentage prior to quality analysis. * Maintained monthly record for rework and rejection percentage. * Handled external Calibration of measuring instruments. * Responsible for Incoming Inspection and Good Receipt Note (GRN) clearance.

The team participates in International Engineering Competitions where student teams face challenges of designing and building a small scale electric formula race car. The car is tested for different engineering parameters like Design, Performance, Endurance, Manufacturing Feasibility and Cost. Part of Mechanical Design group in the second year and responsible for designing the mounts for chassis and chassis jig, in addition to performing structural analysis of the chassis. Being a member of the Chassis and Ergonomics group in the first year, was responsible for designing the chassis jig followed by aiding the fabrication of chassis. This year, the team participated in FS Italy and secured 7th position out of 25 electrical teams. This project has provided valuable exposure in CAD modelling, Structural FEM Analysis, Manufacturing and helped understanding more about work ethics while working in a large team.
