Managed goTenna’s consumer products - Android/iOS apps, web services & RF hardware. goTenna is a wearable device that allows direct networking amongst smartphones. With this device, you can use the goTenna app to communicate even when mobile networks are unavailable or inaccessible - such as during emergencies or in the outdoors. I was the Product Owner for goTenna's consumer line. Launched goTenna Mesh, the world's first 100% off-grid, consumer ready mesh network that works with any iOS or Android smartphone. Shipped over 100k devices to customers within the first 6 months! Built & launched www.imeshyou.com and goTenna Mesh Community to help goTenna Mesh users visualize their off-grid network and connect with fellow goTenna Mesh users Responsibilities/duties include: • Product definitions (MRDs, PRDs etc.) for RF hardware, iOS/Android apps, and web based apps • Coordinate communication between app developers, embedded engineers, and hardware engineers regarding goals & business needs • Work with the UX team to test, optimize & improve customer experience • Manage, iterate, and adjust product roadmap based on the needs of the business • Develop and execute on go-to-market strategies for product rollout/launch

Product Manager for Lutron's commercial lighting control system. Successfully launched 2 new iterations of Quantum software (v3.1, v3.2). Quantum combines software, lighting control hardware and services to reduce lighting energy use, connect lighting loads to smart grid programs and increase occupant comfort/productivity.

Design and development of next generation Lutron smart lighting control solutions. Worked with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to take products through design, manufacturing and production.

Worked on a Department of Energy funded project to build wireless sensors and smart control algorithms that enabled commercial HVAC units to be used as energy capacitors to help balance electricity grids.

Designed and implemented a tool wear based cutting speed controller for gear broaching machines. Vibration data for various conditions of the tool was recorded. This was then used to devise an optimization algorithm that could control cutting speed based on tool wear. The vibration signature produced by the cutting tool was monitored in real-time and the cutting speed was varied continuously to optimize tool life.

Worked with a team 11 Test engineers involved in the Non-Destructive testing of pulverized-fuel boiler components.
