My role as a Manufacturing & Material Handling Development Engineer includes Layout planning, Process Design, In-plant logistics & Material flow planning. In my project , I developed a Dock to Dock material flow for a new acquisition program by; - Optimizing the assembly line labor and developing process flow from the Bill of Materials - Minimizing the Material Handling time by optimizing the direct line stock using integer programming - Comparing the Rigid and Flexible Material Handling automation systems for assembly line and Material transport to make informed decisions for future programs - Calculating the investment and payback for an autonomous material flow system - Planning the Plant location and estimating annual expenditure

-Manufacturing Liaison for Aluminium Cylinder head machining -Integration of new products from alpha batch production through ramp up to SOP -Manufacturing Capacity & Equipment Planning, Process Planning and Layout development/ change for new and existing serial life products -Select, Purchase, Install & Commission new machines for the cylinder head machining line -Lead & Participate in Continuous improvement activities with the World Class Quality team -Conduct Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA and New Equipment Inspection with a Cross Functional Engineering team.

- Chosen for an Hands on training project at the Jaguar Land Rover - Part of the Continuous improvement activity to reduce the Risk Priority Number for the 12 station assembly line - Design, Fabricate & Integrate a pick to light socket holder D.C. torque tools to sequence the assembly operations

- Trained for a week on Engine Assembly & Testing as a part of the Manufacturing Engineering team. - Identified the NVA's at Engine testing process. - Redesigned the engine testing process and achieved a 12-minute reduction in the engine testing cycle time.
