Prashant Sharma is the Managing Director of Charnock Hospitals, SKM Group based in Kolkata, India. Charnock Hospital is a 386 bed NABH accredited Super Specialty Hospital near Kolkata Airport with 100 ICU beds, modular OTs and other world-class infrastructure providing high-end Tertiary & Quaternary care. Charnock Lohia Hospital is a 250 bed NABH compliant Super Specialty Hospital located in central Kolkata by converting a 200 year old Heritage Palace into a tertiary care hospital. Charnock Healthcare Institute has Nursing College & Paramedical College with capacity 1050 students. Charnock also runs many short term medical education programs. SKM Group is a family held business house having multiple diversified businesses: Iron Ore Mines, Steel Plants (JV), Hospital, Hotel, School, College, Cold Storages etc. We are a growing organization with strong roots, firm footing and strategic ambitions with practical approach. Prashant did his MBA from ISB Hyderabad; Healthcare Management from Harvard Business School and various courses from Wharton, Kellogg, INSEAD etc. Prashant is heading various industry bodies in the positions of Chairman - Indian Chamber of Commerce (National Healthcare Committee); Chairman - CII Healthcare Committee Eastern India; Past Chairman for CII, West Bengal; Governing Council Member – NATHEALTH India; Director & Treasurer in Association of Hospitals of Eastern India; amongst other positions.
