With over 20 years of experience in banking and financial services (25 years of total experience), I am currently the MD & CEO of Standard Chartered Capital Limited, the investment banking arm of Standard Chartered Bank in India. I lead a team of professionals who provide a range of capital market solutions to our clients, including equity, debt, structured finance, and advisory services. I also built technology platform for wealth clients. I innovated my skills in customer relationship management, business relationship management, and cross-selling to deliver value-added and customized solutions to our clients, while ensuring compliance and risk management. Prior to this role, I was the Head of Priority Sector Lending at Standard Chartered Bank, where I implemented the development and execution of the bank's strategy for lending to the priority sectors, such as agriculture, microfinance, renewable energy, and affordable housing. I also have a rich experience in the Agri business segment, having worked as the Zonal Sales Head at Kotak Mahindra Bank for nine years, managing a large portfolio of Agri and Rural loans across the western region of India. I hold an Engineering degree and PGPMX degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, where I gained insights into business administration and management. I am passionate about driving growth and innovation in the capital markets sector and contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
