Atuação na gestão territorial do centro da cidade do Recife através do Programa Recentro, com foco na integração de projetos públicos e na atração de investimentos voltados à reabilitação urbana da área central. Liderança do Projeto Portfólio, que conecta proprietários de imóveis históricos a investidores, promovendo a reocupação de prédios desocupados com novos usos, além da elaboração de legislação com gestão e implementação de incentivos fiscais para a reabilitação de mais de 30 edifícios no centro histórico, priorizando a atração de usos residenciais. Acompanhamento e supervisão da elaboração do Masterplan para o bairro de Santo Antônio com ênfase na Avenida Guararapes em parceria com o BNDES e o consórcio liderado pela Jaime Lerner Arquitetos Associados, com foco na reabilitação de 60 edifícios e na revitalização de espaços públicos estratégicos. Representação da Prefeitura do Recife na gestão e em missões internacionais da cooperação internacional Recife-Nantes, retomada em 2019, que resultou até agora na garantia de €3 milhões em investimentos através da AFD para o triênio 2025-2027 com foco na execução de projetos de reabilitação urbana e melhoria de espaços públicos no centro histórico do Recife.

Policy advisory to the Secretary of Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation, including geospatial and territorial analysis of social and economic indicators in the Recife region. Providing intersectorial articulation and managing some of the city’s international cooperation projects such as a series of urban innovation exchange missions involving officials and entrepreneurs from Recife and its sister city Nantes, the creation of an urban data ecosystem financed by UK’s Global Future Cities Programme, and managing data governance negotiations in the development of Recife’s COVID-19 response platform, D.A.D.O.

Managing a research grant from the European Commission in financial support to research team NIUMAR - Network on Intelligent Urban Mobility and Research, which is co-financed by the INCOBRA international consortium and seeks to foster urban mobility and accessibility research in Brazil as well as promoting sustainable cooperation between Brazilian and European researchers. Mentoring and management of the research network's activities, which involved several researchers and students from 4 different countries. The position also included organizing four work meetings in an international workshop format over the course of a year: two in Brazil (Recife and Fortaleza) and the other two in Lisbon, Portugal.

Coordination of a report on the Diagnosis of the Urban Mobility in Recife, which data sources consisted solely on open data and Freedom of Information Requests. Studies included characterization of urban mobility, mapping of institutional structures responsible for the planning processes, management and application of urban mobility projects and a survey on the fare policy for public transportation, budget laws, spaces of public participation and political monitoring instruments. Also, coordination of a workshop cycle with key civil society actors focused on the contents of the Diagnosis and aimed at the theme of public transport regulation, as well as infrastructure and alternatives for the funding of the metropolitan public transportation system in Recife.

Technical support in the development of a Technical White Book for Transportation Demand Management for the Ministry of Cities. Analysis of reference material in multiple languages and interaction with local teams as well as international consultants in the writing and consolidation of the final document, describing all 43 TDM measures and developing a relational matrix for orienting government action and TDM program development.

Planning, design, operation and management of sustainable urban mobility projects, including 20+ bike sharing systems and 1 electric car sharing system, public transit signaling and control planning, bicycle infrastructure such as bike lanes and bike paths and designing and improving smart public parking systems in 30+ cities in Brazil. Participation in the development of urban mobility-related mobile applications and creation of network information databases and developing GTFS tables based on field survey. Coordination of a design team in the research and development of systems and services, as well as integrating with other fields inside the company and clients alike, including traffic engineering, software development, city management and urban design professionals.

Developing and designing efficient formwork, shoring and scaffolding solutions aimed at construction with concrete based in PERI standard products and systems. Advanced CAD drafting, project optimization with software for analysis and cost estimates; static calculation and checking for vertical, horizontal and diagonal loads. Providing on site assistance in the installation and application of PERI systems and products. Supporting sales engineers on client presentations as well as elaborating estimates and quotes for medium and large scale engineering projects.

Participative urban planning for social housing complexes, as well as architectural design for the housing units, public equipments and open spaces for common use. Studies for infrastructure, drainage systems and other complementary projects.

Coordination of a multidisciplinary team in field research for sealing and reambulating over 8,000 houses in a central urban area formed by 4 poor communities in the city of Recife. Accompanying of a physical surveying for georeferencing each housing unit. Application of the social and economic survey related to the land titling project Ponte do Maduro, a partnership between the GLTN (Global Land Tool Network), UN Habitat and the government of the state of Pernambuco.

Elaboration of a social and economic study related to the reactivation of a 9,000km railway in 3 cities located along the deactivated rails. Sealing and mapping of the surveyed areas, as well as supervision of the field research process and data collecting. Analysis of research data, creation of themed maps and consolidation of final reports with guidelines and recommendations for the intervention demanded by the client.
