My duties included managing software developers and scientists on several technology development projects that applied intelligent computational techniques, data mining, and business intelligence to custom solutions for government clients. In this role, I also created the vision for the Commercialization of company IP, developed the Professional Services offerings, managed client and partner relationships, performed contract related technical research, and lead new business acquisition efforts.

I monitor, research, develop and incubate current emerging technologies to assess their potential impact on and application to Hershey's business. I also manage Hershey's Digital Innovation Lab at the University of Pennsylvania's Pennovation center. Investigated themes to date include Computer Assisted Innovation, Virtual/Mixed/Augmented Reality, Chatbots, Machine Learning, mobile consumer engagement, Smart Automation, IOT, gamefication, nanotechnology, consumer engagement through robotics, Future of Retail, and others. Recipient of the 2017 Hershey Inspire Award.

I managed software developers and scientists on several software contracts applying data mining, business intelligence, and optimization techniques to custom solutions for government and industrial clients. I also assisted in new business acquisition, proposal writing, product development, and performed research that created novel intelligent software technologies.

In this position, I designed and implemented solutions using artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining, and other techniques in support of commercial and government contracts. I also assisted in winning new business, provided educational services, and performed research.

In this role, I performed architecting, coding, analytics / data science, and modeling support for all facets of the technical infrastructure. I had a special emphasis on the pricing and customer models used in both online and offline solutions. I have also assisted in restructuring, reorganization, and physical move of technical infrastructure providing coding, project management, requirements gathering, vendor management, contract negotiations, system testing, and user education.

I headed the technology group for a start-up auto financing venture for Resurgent Capital Services. Architected and lead technical team in the creation and maintenance of custom Underwriting, Funding, and Collections solutions that integrated business intelligence techniques into the processes. Designed and implemented profit forecasting and custom vehicle depreciation models used as key components of the integrated Underwriting model. Worked with internal and external vendors to extend technical capabilities on a tight budget. Also managed and provided analytics and reporting support for the business.

In charge of devloping strategic analytics across the company as well as applying appropriate analytics to serve internal customers. Focus on data-mining, predictive analytics and Business Intelligence applications for scorecard development, business planning, staffing requirements and risk mitigation especially in the sub-prime auto lending business.
