Phil McCartney

I serve as EVP, Chief Innovation, Design & Product Officer at NIKE, Inc., where I lead a world-class team driving how Nike, Jordan and Converse innovate, design and create products that inspire athletes around the world (aka the coolest job in sports). Over my 27 years at NIKE, I’ve worked across product creation design, and merchandising for all sports and Nike Sportswear, most recently serving as VP of Global Footwear, Product and Merchandising. I started my career as an EKIN in the UK — building deep relationships with athletes in my community. I then took in product roles across the world and am now at our world headquarters in Beaverton. As a former long-distance runner, my lifelong passion for sport continues to shape how I think about performance and innovation every day.
