Petter Veiby

Petter Veiby joined Immunitas in April 2022 as Senior Vice President, Business Development. He is a seasoned R&D executive with deep scientific expertise in oncology who brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience in biotech and pharma, specializing in strategy and enterprise execution. Petter applies his scientific background as a foundation to cultivate successful partnerships and collaborations from conception to execution in drug discovery through commercialization.

• Established AM function and built a team to manage Zai 15 alliances and collaborations across discovery through commercialization. • Established and led cross functional diligence teams for global and regional opportunities in oncology, autoimmunity and hematology for all of Zai's partnered regional and global assets. • Served as interim head of research from Aug 2020. Reorganized, focused and strengthened the discovery group across both Shanghai and Menlo Park research sites in both biologics and SM molecule discovery in immunology and oncology research. Delivered 2 global INDs to the portfolio. • Supported Global Head oncology development and CMO AIID to develop strategy and map opportunities to support strategy. • Initiated and Chaired RnD leadership meetings to prioritize and reach clear scientific decisions on regional and global opportunities.
