I am volunteering with others to start a non profit company that will help reduce e-waste and at the same time educate people on the workings of computers.

I completed a graduate certificate in systems sciences having completed five graduate courses in economic design, applied probability, systems optimization and networks, design processes for systems, and simulations. I could not find a good fit with the faculty to complete a masters of sciences thesis so accepted a certificate.

Taught problems solving groups and statistical software labs. Marked math and statistics homework. Proctored tests and exams.

I served as union recording secretary for two and a half years. I also served on the personal safety committee and as a health and safety representative to this union on a mid sized Canadian University campus. I have hired a statistical analyst three times to aid the local's bargaining committee. Also duties included attending conferences and larger union gatherings.

Patrol and access control duties at Industrial Campus.

Lighting, kitchen, security, moving heavy music equipment.

Data entry and programming of database of world's published crystalographic research for Canadian Science institute.

Worked with other members to discuss accessibility at the city of Ottawa and advise city council. This included studying plans and documents at the city and being briefed on issues in accessibility at the city and it's properties. Also attendance at various other committees and community meetings allowed a full view of accessibility as it was in the City of Ottawa during this time. A community bus pass was brought in and the Ontarians with Disabilities Act was in development.

I work to calculate statistical estimates concerning businesses in Canada. I calculate the confidentiality of tables of estimates. I work in the SAS programming language using statistical standards accepted in the field of business statistics. I also write methodological research and technical programming papers about this work.

I have completed much work collecting and archiving statistics. I produce SAS programs and Excel tables concerning Internet use in Canada. I also write learned papers about the Internet.

I had duties in evaluating SAS coding and SPSS coding which meant quality checking and finding possible errors. In other duties I have helped prepare research papers about elders and seniors, retirement and working past 65.

My duties involved archiving the census. I also was a telephone interviewer.

I play electric bass guitar, write songs, sing and manage groups of musicians, all in an amateur context.

I am a resource person supporting the tabulation of statistics using SAS. I program in SAS and SAS related products. I solve mathematics problems everyday.

I am a trained union steward for my own union as a volunteer.

I am writing some technical material related to documention of computer programs in the SAS language.

In general, the work is for custom requests for data tabulations.

I attend monthly meetings and help staff and members in implementing our strategic goals, our logic model, and maintaining our mission. I also attend various workshops, coalitions, workgroups, and committees to keep our organization networked both in our city and regionally. I usually keep the board minutes as well as serving on hiring committees, staff evaluations and other committees.
