Latest development involved: Completed the development (front end and backend) of an online invoice system and released for eLaw International. This online web application allows account staffs to create, submit and email invoices to a selected customer as well as other administrative tools built in. It also has the functionality of printing; users are able to print the invoice directly from an APSX page or can save the invoice in PDF format. Customers on the other side of the world can login into the site, view and download invoices for review. Responsibilities: Most common tasks in this role include develop small to medium in house applications to support the internal operations and customers' non standard business requests. Besides usual development work, I also provide internal support on varies systems such as the core business imaging and data capture platform and Online Order system. Key development involved: Involved in the development of imaging and data entry platform. This system is a large and complex Windows application that was built under .NET 3.5 with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as the backend. The areas I was responsible were the data export stage and image format conversations. In the data export stage, data will be extracted from the backend database, transformed and loaded into various forms for presentation to the clients. During this stage, there are a lot of image conversions occurred as different clients have different requirements.
