Pepot Miñana

I have held various roles at Jollibee Foods Corporation since 1993, from President of Jollibee Philippines to Group President, handling various local and foreign brands in the Philippines, USA, Canada, and Vietnam of JFC, to Chief Sustainability and Public Affairs Officer. Assignments included start ups, turnarounds, transition, and expansions, with both locally grown and foreign franchised brands. Initial roles in JFC were in Corporate Planning and Regional Operations. I was appointed over the last two years (2023-24) as President to lead turnaround, as well as transition leadership and organizations of both Smashburger (based in Denver, CO), and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Americas (based in Los Angeles, CA). This was in conjunction with my role as Chief Sustainability and Public Affairs Officer of JFC (based in Manila, Philippines). I am currently Chief Executive Officer of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, alongside my roles as Chief Sustainability Officer & Public Affairs Officer at Jollibee Foods Corporation. As CSO, the Sustainability Division of Jollibee Foods Corporation was created, and I led the development of the company's first ever Global Sustainability Agenda with its 3 pillars of Food, People and Planet. As such, JFC's ESG rating improved from CCC to BB amongst the field of 18 global restaurant companies. I also lead the company's Public Affairs in identifying opportunities and risks, and developing a healthy proactive relationship with various stakeholders. I was part of private-public sector team that assisted the Philippines Inter-Agency Task Force Against Covid. I oversee JFC's Corporate Communications group, which is established to strengthen the company's corporate reputation through timely, balanced, and strategic actions. I am also a member of JFC's Global Executive Team. I have a specific passion for results through people, balanced with a penchant for numbers and orientation for business results. Culture building and management as well as strategic planning are other areas of strength. I am fortunate enough to have completed the Advanced Management Program of the Executive Education from Harvard Business School, MBA from Asian Institute of Management, and Industrial Engineering from De La Salle University. My most important priority is family, married for 26 years with 3 children.
