Ouassim Alami

My role for the past 3 years has been to identify, conceptualize and develop future-proof pioneering ideas that address Qatar’s most critical needs in the vital field of environmental sustainability. I build concepts from ideation to design development and make them self-sustain thanks to smart funding models.

Thanks to an ambitious partnership with Microsoft®, I developed the actual blueprint of Education City Smart City, empowering the Foundation with a robust vision that enables people, harvests data and explores endless AI lead opportunities for the campus and the community.

I joined the COO office to augment the cross-functional synergies within the remit. What started as an analytical exercise to improve processes soon lead to a major strategy re-alignment and a structural operational shift towards a customer-centric model.

Assigned to Qatar Foundation’s mega projects such as Education City Stadium, the R&D Complex and other infra-structure projects, I evolved fast within the institution thanks to an agile and integrated management approach. My ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders was and remains a key success factor in project delivery.

As BDM and co-founder of MAGNUM projects, I worked on the company’s market expansion and business opportunities between Europe and Africa. My role allowed me to gain experience in growth, market penetration and risk management.

Multiple consultancy experiences with Toyota, Chevrolet and L'Oréal as a Middle East Market specialist boosted my career and granted me solid corporate foundations.
