I joined Sadara during installation phase in which I participated in inspections and process reviews. Later I got involved in commissioning and startup activities. Currently I am responsible for complex Process Engineering tasks and Separation Columns. Main Responsibilities - Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Separation columns(distillation, scrubbers, absorber etc.) and being the first point of contact for any separation performance, Improvment issues and supervising separation columns installations & final inspections for all 28 plants. - Leading process design activities; including design basis, feasibility studies, process options and optimization, process descriptions, process flow diagrams with heat and material balance, and P&IDs. - Prepare and review of engineering studies, design drawings and documents, material and equipment specifications by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards; and by maintaining an effective communication with project team members. - Providing daily process engineering technical support to Isocyanate operations; including process troubleshooting, manufacturing data analysis, root cause analysis, using statistical tools to improve process capabilities, and integrating process control and instrumentation design. - Supporting Process Safety reviews and calculations including Chemical Exposure Index [CEI], Fire and Explosion Index [F&EI], review of Excessive Pressure Management [EPM] documentation (UG140, PSV, PVRV, PRD, etc.), development of mitigation plan, High power pumps trip set-point calculations, Surge analysis, and participating in Reactive Chemicals Process Hazard Analysis [RCPHA] - Mentoring junior staff and provide processes and equipment trainings. Isocyanate: Chlorine, Nitric Acid [NA], Di-Nitrotoluene [DNT], Sulfuric Acid [SAC], MonoNitroBenzene (MNB), Aniline, Formalin, Phosgene, TolueneDiAmine [TDA], TolueneDiIsocyanate [TDI], Methylene DiAniline [MDA] and Polymeric Methylene Diphenyl DiIsocyanate [PMDI]

I joined Jordan Bromine as a fresh graduate at the stage of new Bromine plant construction phase. I was heavily involved in all project phases. Later I was assigned the responsibility of Energy Management System. I also worked on expansion projects of Chlorine and TBBPA plants. Main Responsibilities - Designing, developing the performance, and commissioning of units and equipment. - Main focal point for Energy Management System which aims to monitor, control, and reduce the energy consumption (electricity, fuel, steam, air, and nitrogen). I had worked in Bromine, TBBPA, Chlorine & Utilities plants.

Responsible for developing a special material in R&D lab.

I was working on FPSO that extracts the oil from the Mediterranean Sea. I was trained on the oil preliminary treatment and the advanced control system of oil & gas process and FPSO. The main objective of this internship was to study a marine pump corrosion behavior, identifying the problem causes, and suggesting mechanism and solutions. Also I was involved in operations of oil extraction and oil pretreatment.

Represented the university in Society of Petroleum Engineers Regional Education Week Lecturer of the “HYSYS Courses for Chemical Engineers” Training Course (20 Hours)
