My job at Spraoi involved me catering for children's birthday parties. In this case, I had to ensure every child was under strict management by myself so parents could feel at ease knowing that their children were kept safe and entertained. I had to cater each child their dinner (could be up to 10-25 children per party) after they arrived in the party room, I had to make sure everything was under control for the party I was assigned to, which included that all children and parents were facilitated for. I had to also give out birthday cake and sing songs along and interact with the children so they had a memorial experience at Spraoi for their birthday. I had to cater for up to 4/5 parties a day.

I have done work experience in a barbershop called David Jones. During working here I worked alongside my co-workers and the owner of the Babers. As I am currently studying Accounting and Finance I always dealt with the income and expenditure of the shop, keeping check on profits and losses. I gained valuable lessons whilst working there and how to co-operate and facilitate customers on a daily basis.

I done work experience at a special needs primary school called as Scoil Colm. I worked alongside the young children, helping them prepare for their Christmas exams, homework and gaining more knowledge on behavioural problems such as ADHD and neuro-development disabilities such as autism.

I have just signed my contract with Fraser Models and Actors recently. My job involves me to be sent on different castings or interviews so I can be booked for a job, this job may include commercial work, editorial work or a casting for an acting roll. I must represent my agency when I am sent to a casting or interview at all times and when I am successful in booking a job I must cooperate with the scouting director/makeup artists/stylists/photographer in order to do my job properly.

I have been working with Promo Agency since February and my job involves that I am hired by different companies across Ireland who want to promote their company or brands at different ceremonies, corporate events, product launches and campaigns. I must therefore pitch and send out the message of the brand and why companies/consumers should sell or buy this product or service. It is my job to have full detailed knowledge of the back ground of the brand and the product itself so I look professional and so I can facilitate the publics questions at corporate events and also before they make an order on the product before they will put it on sale to the public.

My role is involved in many different departments such as client service, social media marketing and accounts administration. My role in fancosmic ltd involves myself dealing with the general public whilst managing social media sites. I have also had the opportunity to gain an insight in the accounting side of fancosmic ltd by monitoring errors for example in payrolls or cash flows of the company.
