I did my master in full research program. The project was interaction of VSD disease of cocoa with soil and nutrient status in Indonesia. The main objective of this project was to draw a link between VSD infection and nutrient status of cocoa plant in Treblasala Estate, PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia. I run several pot trials in the glasshouse of Gatton campus, The University of Queensland, Australia. These trials aim to study phosphorus and micro nutrient interaction. A similar trial was studied in commercial plantation in East Java and another trial was established to observe the relationship of nutrient status to VSD infection in the plantation.
