Oversee procurement strategy, supplier performance, and cost optimization initiatives aligned with long-term business growth objectives. 🔑 Key Responsibilities & Strategic KPIs: Drive Strategic Sourcing in alignment with the Group's 3-year business roadmap, ensuring cost-effective, scalable procurement. Lead Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) involving R&D, Production, Quality, and Finance to align sourcing with enterprise-wide goals. Manage Supplier Relationship Development, focusing on innovation, quality, and capacity building to meet evolving business needs. Achieve Year-on-Year (YoY) Raw Material Cost (RMC) Reduction through targeted negotiations and strategic supplier alignment. Support profitability by contributing directly to P&L improvement through sourcing excellence and cost leadership. Lead Sustainable Procurement initiatives using global frameworks such as EcoVadis, driving supplier compliance on ESG metrics.

Independently handling Procurement function in manufacturing Industry Textile / Polymer Compounding with Procurement of Yarn, Technical Textile, Adhesive, Chemicals etc. Identification of new source from cost competitive geographies. Import Purchase, Sourcing and inventory Planning with Techno Commercial development with best fit negotiation. Planning and ensuring timely delivery with cost effectiveness through purchase activities. Inventory management and periodic review of slow moving / non – moving inventory and its disposal. Co-ordination and ensuring smooth flow of activities with subcontracted process. Negotiation of major purchases and master agreements with suppliers and engaging all aspects of contract management. MIS on Purchase and Inventory Management. Exposure of SAP and ERP system. Adherence of ISO:9001 : 2015 systems in Purchase & Sourcing Function.
