I am passionate about bringing sustainability solutions to market. I lead commercial operations at EVERY where we make and sell food proteins. Our proteins are animal-free and better for the planet. Previously at Bolt Threads we developed and manufactured best-in-class sustainable biomaterials and I lead the mushroom-leather product line, Mylo. I was the General Manager for Novozymes SF, where we developed high-throughput protein engineering platforms for screening industrial enzymes. Prior to joining Novozymes I was co-founder of Allopartis Biotechnologies where we evolved improved enzymes for biofuels. Allopartis was acquired by Novozymes in 2013. I earned my Ph.D. in Bioengineering at UC Berkeley and UCSF and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona.

I was part of the team that led Allopartis to be acquired by Novozymes in 2013 and resulted in the establishment of new Novozymes R&D site in San Francisco.
