• Member of accomplished Development team which produced the world’s first commercially available DPSS, High Power, Fiber-Coupled, CW 2.94 µm Laser module. • Developed and documented Crystal wrapping techniques for maximum heat sinking and bonding. • Documented assembly and alignment procedures for manufacturing the 2.94 µm laser module. • Set up and executed research experiments during the development of a DPSS CW Fiber-Coupled 532 nm Laser. • Assorted projects included components such as Er:YAG, Nd:YAG, Nd:YVO4, and KTP crystals; Laser Pump diodes, Thermal Electric Coolers, and chiller cooling systems. • Implemented a sub-contract manufacturing line and Repair Depot supporting Presstek’s SureFire 10-watt DPSS Laser system.

• Assisted the Laser Engineering team in transitioning a Class IV, 10-watt DPSS Laser imaging system (SureFire), from Development into Manufacturing. • Refined alignment techniques and methods and brought potential problems to the attention of the engineering staff. • Developed work instructions and procedures for both assembly and alignment of the SureFire. • Developed complex, multi-page Excel Workbooks using macros which efficiently streamlined data collection, data analysis, and documentation during the manufacturing process of SureFire.

• Awarded Patent (# 6772688) along with 2 colleagues for an automated plate centering system for the “Xcalibur” VLF, pre-press imaging system. • Member of successful Engineering team acquired from Misomex International, which developed the "Xcalibur." The team took this product line from concept to Production in less than one. • Traveled to Italy to supervise the installation of the first VLF system, which also included training the Italian team of Field Service Engineers. • Domestic travel to various customer sites to assist Field Service Engineers in troubleshooting imaging systems. • Certified as Laser Safety Officer.
