Neil Bansal
Regional Vice President @ Liberty Tire Recycling, LLC
About
As a Regional Vice President for Liberty Tire, I operationalize our corporate vision across the multiple operations and sites for which I am responsible. Liberty Tire’s corporate mission is to create a more sustainable and resilient future that respects the environment and protects the health and safety of our people and communities. We are committed to providing world class service and finding new and innovative ways to reclaim, recycle and reuse scrap tires for eco-friendly products – in support of a green circular economy and for the long-term health of our planet. Liberty Tire Recycling collects over 200 million PTEs annually and processes them through 44 recycling facilities in North America, serving approximately 18,500 customers. I have 25+ years of proven success in the areas of general management, commercial strategy, quality and regulatory affairs, domestic and international market development, designing and setting up facilities, operations, and new product development. With my experience working in, and then leading, teams dedicated to the complex process of 'product conversion' in both the United States and Canada, I’m excited to be able to continuously apply my knowledge of recycling operations, within this burgeoning industry. My passion is to continue to support the people and processes of product recovery, conversion, manufacturing, and environmental safety at Liberty Tire, in partnership with agencies in the regulatory environments in which we work. My career and focus on converting every manner of end of life tires has given me an opportunity to do something that comes along once in a lifetime: to play an evolving role in a dynamic industry from its very beginnings. I’m honored to support our talented team of more than 2500 people in tech, R&D, and operations, and our network of 60+ executives. I personally view the work we do as being integral to protection of the natural environment, and ensuring our processes of conversion lead to positive outcomes. I have had the honour of serving as a board of director at TRAC - Tire and Rubber Association of Canada (www.tracanada.ca). I am partnering with a Canadian university on R&D to rubberize concrete and support Liberty Tires' endeavour to invest in research and development to create new business.
