Part of an Arcadis team of experts selected to partake in a probono Shelter Mission in Chokwe (Mozambique) and Zomba (Malawi), on behalf of our client, UN-Habitat. Our team conducted field visits in view of flood defence and urban resilience interventions to alleviate the effects of fluvial and pluvial flooding. Solutions assessed included drainage design, river retraining and defenses, elevated relief road construction and disaster early warning systems.

EDUCATION MANAGEMENT: Founding member of an ambitious start-up organization and multi-million dollar programme, establishing and operating a consortium of schools within Zambia's north-western province, in collaboration with mining client First Quantum Minerals. The programme involved five schools, boarding facilities and staff accommodation, alongside the development of peripheral infrastructure and services.
