About

I am a dedicated professional with nearly two decades of experience in relationship building, partnership creation, and fundraising for higher education, nonprofit organizations, and the arts. I am passionate about supporting organizations that are working to create and improve systems and services so that children and families have equitable access to the resources they need to thrive. My experience includes building strategies and partnerships based on mission alignment and shared goals, managing institutional funding pipelines and portfolios, composing grant applications, reports, and budgets, managing grants and related budgets, and working closely and collaboratively with organizational leadership, grant PIs, and internal and external partners. My work has resulted in fruitful thought partnerships, new initiatives, and grants from institutional, corporate, and government funders. In addition to my work in the philanthropic world, I am a classically-trained violist and pianist. I have a BA in Music from Syracuse University, and an MA in Music Education from New York University, and sing with my local community choir.
