Quickline is an independent Wireless Internet Service Provider (ISP) with a wireless and fibre network covering Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. We uniquely offer high speed internet access to businesses, residential areas, and schools even in remote rural areas, as well as towns and cities. I work with businesses on solutions to internet connectivity and also with fail safe wireless projects.

I was the sales and business development manager for Sloemotion. Sloemotion is a business with a passion for creating high quality products such as our Hedgerow Spirits, Sloe Gin, Damson Gin, Bramble Whisky, & Cherry Brandy. Founded ten years ago, they are a small family-run company based in Barton-le-Willows, just north of York. They supply about 400 food halls, farm shops, delis, supermarkets and wine merchants all over the UK. They use high quality ingredients, hand-picked fruit and traditional methods to make their products stand out; taste is of the utmost importance. Once their drinks are made they use the spirit-infused fruit – too good to throw away - for their delicious chutneys, ketchup and chocolate truffles. Yorkshire territory sales manager. Supplying all aspects of the trade. They offer a unique same day delivery service. I was based out of the Rotherham depot.

As store manager I had sole responsibility for the everyday running of the store. The business stocked high end fashion brands from Nomination, Thomas Sabo and Calvin Klein to locally sourced jewellery. I controlled staffing, budgets, purchasing and much more. I employed 4 permanent members of staff.

I was lease holder and landlady of this local public house.

I dealt with customers from across all categories of business. In my role I used all operating systems including Microsoft, Sentinal, CRM, Neptune, Bubble and Adboss on a daily basis. My main tasks were to understand my customers business and their business needs, I managed their accounts and advised on their advertising opportunities. I assisted my team and other members of the business.

I started my Thresher career as a sales assistant and was quickly promoted to Branch Manager. As manager I was responsible for 8 members of staff. My daily duties included ordering, stock control, cash management, staff rotas and dealing with complaints. In addition to this I was solely responsible for motivating and developing my team and their performance. I had to achieve group set KPI’s and revenue targets. My line manager was the regional manager for the group. In this role I attended many training sessions and workshops throughout the country. During my time with Thresher I won a national sales incentive and a trip to America.
