With over 40 years of experience in the leather industry, Mr. Mukhtarul Amin serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of Superhouse Group - a global leader in leather manufacturing and exports. Superhouse is proud to be India’s only leather group that manufactures the entire range of leather products in-house, including finished leather, safety footwear, fashion footwear, accessories, bags, and apparel. Under his leadership, the Group has built a strong presence in 35+ countries, including the UK, USA, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, UAE, South Africa, Australia, and Canada - earning global recognition for its craftsmanship, innovation, and commitment to sustainability. In addition to his success in business, Mr. Amin is a passionate advocate for education. As the Chairman of Superhouse Education Foundation, he has spent over 20+ years shaping educational initiatives that impact more than 30,000 students across the Superhouse Education Foundation group of schools. His focus on accessible, high-quality education empowers the next generation with the skills and leadership necessary to thrive in a rapidly changing world Mr. Mukhtarul Amin has held several key leadership positions across the leather and skill development sectors in India. He has served as the Chairman of the Council for Leather Exports (CLE) during two terms, and as the Former Chairman of the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), the world’s largest footwear training institution under the Ministry of Commerce. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Leather Sector Skill Council under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and is a Director at the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and NSDC International. In addition, he is the Chairman of the Kanpur-Unnao Leather Cluster Development Company, the Co-Chairman (North India) of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, and a Member of the ICC Expert Committee on Leather, reflecting his continued dedication to shaping industry, skill development, and innovation in India His leadership philosophy is simple: success is most meaningful when it uplifts others.
