Associated with Namal Education Foundation (part of Imran Khan Foundation), managing Namal University, Mianwali (An affiliate of Bradford University, UK), as Manager Finance, Budgeting and Planning, I am reportable to Group CFO of Imran Khan Foundation: My responsibilities include: • Preparation of annual budgets and projections of Namal Education Foundation & Imran Khan Foundation and all its specific allied projects. • Team Leader for implementation of SAP in Organization • Recommendations for approval/rejection for capex based on financial justification and alignment with business strategies. • Preparation of Projected cash flows. • Ongoing monitoring of expenditure against budget and quarterly reporting for this. • Preparation of accounts (monthly and annual) of Namal Education Foundation & Imran Khan Foundation and its allied projects. • Ensuring scrutiny of staff data for payroll processing. • Review the internal audit reports. • Review of statutory documents filed by Foundation. • Analysis and recommendation for pricing strategies (determining fee and other charges). • Fund Management to optimize income. • Business Process Re-engineering for Namal University. • Restructuring plan for Imran Khan Foundation Group.

My responsibilities here are to carry out various audits and special assignments and to complete them in agreed time frame. It includes planning the assignment, framing the scope in consultation with the engagement team and engagement management, correspondence with client, supervision and review of the engagement team and reviewing the wording of audit report to be signed by the engagement partner. Following audits were successfully completed by me during the above mentioned period; • Statutory Audit - Nishat Power Limited • Speical Audit - Nisaht Power Limited Special Assignment • Carried a special assignment for Nishat Power Limited, the basic focus of the assignment was to ensure the accuracy of project cost incurred in accordance with power purchase agreement. With an objective to assist NEPRA, in revision of tariff for electricity to be sold by the subject project. • Preparation of certificates required by banks under financing arrangements to ensure compliance with financing agreements.

Associated with A. F. Ferguson & Co. Lahore (a member firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers) as a trainee student. In individual capacity as well as a team leader, I have extensive experience of: • Statutory audits which include analysis and review of financial statements of various industry clients in accordance with International audit standards and other requirements of corporate laws prevailing in Pakistan. Scope of work, interalia, included ensuring compliance with management policies, identification of business risks for planning and scoping our audit work and examining financial statements to ensure compliance with National and International Reporting Frameworks, primarily comprising of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs). • Tax assignments which include filing of statutory documents on behalf of different clients including income tax returns and preparation of grounds of appeals. • Special assignments which comprise performance of agreed upon procedures and preparation of reports as per engagement requirements, to assess the financial and operational viability of the entity and to recommend strategies for its future direction. • Compliance with applicable statutory legislatures including The Companies Ordinance 1984, Code of Corporate Governance, Income Tax Ordinance 2001 etc
