Coordinated the creation of a writing department at one of Hong Kong’s premier education centers, specializing in critical thinking and writing. Interviewed, trained and managed writing staff. Designed and supervised team-created original curricula; created lesson plans for challenging social issues-based writing and literature courses, specialized electives, intensive classes and private lessons, while teaching 20-35 hours per week. Developed extracurricular competitions (of up to 130+ students) and prospective student assessments; drafted and helped edit promotional materials such as viewbook and website text; composed occasional articles for company column in local newspaper, parent letters, and thrice-yearly 300-500 word progress reports for each student.

* Wrote more than two dozen manuscripts evaluations. * Proofread drafts, researched permissions, prepared mailings, and assisted publicity for multiple titles.

* Proofread, typed and compiled fundraising materials and reunion autobiographies, in addition to general office organization duties. * Helped prepare for and staff events for donors, alumni, parents and staff; held the office’s sole student summer position in 2009.
