A PhD candidate at the European University Institute (Florence, Italy), I try to understand under what conditions rentier states are more likely to engage in multilateral fora. In so doing, I develop a comparative study of the states of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates and of their international cooperation on foreign aid issues such as donor proliferation and aid transparency.
