The Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs supervises the day to day activities of faculty, staff and students related to Clinic programs. Supervises Clinic faculty, staff, and work-study students as assigned by the Executive Dean of Clinics. Administer policies in accordance with institutional practices. Supervise assigned clinicians to include daily schedules, and evaluations Participate in the strategic planning process. Provide written reports as requested by the Executive Dean of Clinics Committee service Clinical Academic Oversight - Monitor the quality of educational materials for students, staff, and patients. - Advance best practices in course and program learning assessment. - Coordinate the development and implementation of new program openings and curriculum innovation. - Monitor the quality and delivery of courses and patient care. Manage faculty workload/Clinic assignments. Participate in patient care as needed or scheduled for up to 15 hours a week. Adhere to Federal, State, and Local health care and compliance laws. Evaluate and appropriately resource the department. Serve as College Official for student adjudication hearings. Manage student/faculty/staff/patient complaints in accordance with institutional practices. Talent Management - Recruit and retain high-quality faculty and staff. - Conduct faculty and staff hiring processes in accordance with institutional practices. - Evaluate faculty and staff in accordance with institutional timelines and practices. - Administer the CBA and Staff Handbook; - May serve as college official on committees and ethics/grievance proceedings. - Determine and advance the development needs of faculty and staff.

Coordinated and instructed chiropractic clinical instruction courses, monitoring student progress in the clinical program to meet accreditation and school graduation clinical requirements. Instruction in clinical courses to include: Clinic I, II and III, Clinical Methods, Introduction to EHR, Introduction to Clinic, Professional Ethics, Case Correlations II and Case Correlations III.

Manage patient care, be responsive to the patient’s needs, monitor patient progress, and ensure appropriate follow-up. Be a consultation source for other faculty. Classroom instruction in various course subjects: Emergency Procedures, Regulatory Issues, Legal Issues, Professional Ethics, Clinical Methods. Classroom instruction includes managing classroom activities with various modes of instruction including supervision and assessment of course topics. Assure proper documentation is maintained on all patients, and file patient reports in an appropriate and timely manner. Provide hands-on mentoring and foster a critical thinking environment for student intern education. Oversee student conduct, proficiency, professionalism, and clinical standards. Oversee and/or direct all clinical protocols and procedures by student interns including adjustments, examinations, radiology and laboratory procedures, and case management. Perform qualitative evaluation assessment on externs, and conduct doctor/student conferences. Participate in objective structured clinical proficiency examinations. Serve on appointed committees, task forces, and other teams.

Provided assistance to course lead instructor in the supervision of student education. Provided educational assistance to students in chiropractic technique courses.

Provided classroom instruction for various courses, including: Anatomy and Physiology I, Anatomy and Physiology II and Nutrition.

Provided classroom instruction for Introduction to Biology, Anatomy, and Physiology I, Introduction to Health, and Introduction to Wellness.

Currently working on completion of dissertation. All coursework has been completed.
