Expressed in two words only, my core competences are X-rays and Lipids. So far, I was mainly engaged in investigating structure and dynamics of biomembrane models by small angle X-ray scattering. General goal is to understand the structure, shape and flexibility of lipid membranes and further their relation to response and function in different physico-chemical environments. Recent activities have been concentrated on the study of biomedical aspects of drug/membrane interactions and on non-lamellar mesophases with applications to food and drug delivery.
