* Financial review & reporting (IS & BS), per cost/profit centre, & propose journals within deadlines. * Profitability analysis and reporting- per LOB/profit centre, per customer, per product. * Assist with preparation of some recons and review centrally compiled recons. * Facilitating external audit. * Prepare and submit journals for approval and processing. * Collaborate with Shared services on creditors, debtors and monthly billing. * Prepare management reports, including commentary, for BU managers. * Occasional presentation of financials to Divisional Exco. * Compilation and circulation of financial reports, i.e. weekly backlog, billing report & month cost center reports, highlight risk where there is one. * Review actual against budget/forecast to track performance. * Assist with budget and forecasting, including rolling forecasts.

* Load customer orders on SAP after validating all paperwork, i.e. order vs. quote, costs and margin. * Drive backlog - expedite outstanding orders with aim of recognizing revenue. * Generate invoices for orders delivered and ensure accurate financial posting on SAP, i.e. accurate value posted to correct profit centre, customer & material code. * Supervise two sales coordinators, one of which was an intern mentored by me. * Prepare accurate national commission statements within monthly deadlines and resolve queries. * Propose & process all necessary journals after approval. * Prepare & submit accurate recons within monthly deadlines to the Finance manager. * Financial review & reporting, within month end deadlines, of IS & BS. * Provide billing forecast, revenue & GP.

* Financial reporting & monitoring. * Manage working capital, I.e debtors,creditors & stock. * Budget & forecast formulation * Review,improve as well as implement controls where they are lacking & ensure strict adherence to controls. * Facilitate internal audit & ensure corrective measures are implemented. * Assist with external audit. * Propose potential savings & eliminate inefficiencies. * Assist Operations Manager in stabilising profits & securing branch sustainability/continuity. * Management of cashbook & fixed assets. * Adhoc task as directed by Financial executive,I.e.: * IAS 9 (Revaluation of stock) calculation & reporting * Hedging calculation & reporting. * Report figures to UK & assist in queries.
