* Maintenance and enhancement of device driver library for MPEG-2 MP@HL video decoder in Nexperia product line. * Part of team delivering complete ATSC compliant system * Responsible for integration of MPEG-2 video decoder and broadcast data service (EIA608/708) decoders. * Chip design verification of the operation and feature set of slice level video decoder. Test vector generation for C model simulation, Quickturn emulation and first release silicon verification platforms. * Extensive chip and emulation debug of RTL design and software drivers.

* Development of C/C++ software for Minerva VC8000 product delivering multicast MPEG-1/2 and H.264 for television in cPCI bladed headend solution * Worked on team developing video driver for TI DSP based H.264/AVC encoder solution. * Responsible for DVB demultiplex module interface and microcode running pSOS on TM1300. * Existing code and feature enhancements for system controller running vxWorks on Pentium II. * Late project phase debug of inter-processor communication involving time critical interrupt driven issues. * Code optimization of key modules * User interface enhancement in Java for host system.

* Responsible for TriMedia Streaming Architecture(TSA) high level source libraries and applications. Development and test for internal tools(SDK) and infrastructure as well as external customer release. * SVCD/CD DVR reference design * Responsible for system integration of MP3 audio decoder, user input and on screen display into complete application. * API design and development of 6 channel 24bit audio mixer with sound processing (EQ, Dolby Bass Redirection) capabilities.

* Research and development in set top box group. Development of advanced wavelet based algorithms for MPEG-2 video decoder. Implementation and analysis on C-model simulation and target processor platforms. * Design of driver software for Intel 8051 8-bit micro controller for second generation DirecTV satellite system decoder including IR user input, front panel display and EEPROM via IIC interface. * Build and release management using CVS. * Responsible for DSS MPEG-2 encoder system for test support. * QA intern on user interface for DSS set-top system. Duties included bug reporting, maintenance and administration of bug database system, build and release management and board level support for engineers.
