La passion et l’engagement pour les droits des femmes et des jeunes filles, plus particulièrement leur DSSR sont au cœur de la vie et du travail de Melchie Ibula. Je suis détentrice d'un diplôme de médecine et de licence en santé communautaire, ce qui me permet de combiner mes compétences médicales avec mon activisme en faveur des droits des femmes.Mon parcours professionnel est marqué par un profond désir de créer un monde où les droits des femmes et des jeunes filles sont au premier plan, où les violences basées sur le genre sont éradiquées grâce à une justice équitable. C'est ce rêve qui m’a amenée à consacrer près de 15 ans de ma vie à l'activisme, un engagement qu'ai commencé dès l'âge de 13 ans alors que j’étais encore collégienne.Membre de Youth Forum on MGDs and ICPD, Youthfim en sigle depuis 2016, j’ai rédigé, dirigé et contribué au développement de projets novateurs tels quels "Jeune fille, ma silhouette ou mon intellect ? " en y ajoutant "Ma santé, ma responsabilité" que j’ai mis en place en 2020. C’est concept qui fait comprendre que la jeune fille qui doit autant travailler son intellect de la même manière qu'elle entretient sa silhouette doit savoir bien gérer sa sexualité pour ne pas s'exposer à diverses infections sexuellement transmissibles; et aux grossesses non désirées. Un concept qui booste et rappelle en même temps la jeune fille qu'elle n'a pas seulement un visage à maquiller, un estomac à remplir, des bras à mouvoir, pas non plus les pieds à faire marcher mais aussi et surtout une intelligence à forger et les talents à mettre en exergue pour contribuer au développement de son pays et du monde.Au cours de ma carrière, j’ai participé à des ateliers, des formations et des projets qui m’ont permis d'acquérir une expertise approfondie en matière de santé sexuelle et reproductive,ainsi qu'une compréhension aiguë des défis auxquels sont confrontées les femmes et les jeunes filles dans ce domaine. Je suis une passionnée de droits des femmes,une militante féministe et une experte en santé travaillant sans relâche pour créer un monde où chaque femme et chaque jeune fille a le pouvoir de prendre des décisions éclairées sur sa propre santé et son propre corps.Je dirige la commission renforcement des capacités et formation à YouthSprint et AJCAF-AS ( Alliance des jeunes champions de l’Afrique francophone pour l’avortement sécurisé )Forte de mon savoir-faire et mon dévouement sans égal, j’ai été reconnue au niveau national comme international par mon engagement sur les questions des DSSR des femmes et des jeunes filles.✊
