Mel Bwint, MSW - CEO Mel Bwint, founder and CEO of Child and Family Focus, Inc. has been working in social services for over twenty five years. His experience has varied from direct clinical care to program development, implementation and administrative oversight. He possesses experience in drug and alcohol treatment, children & youth services, mental health, mental retardation services to children and adults as well as individual and family therapy. He has been an upper level manager and strong team leader with experience in program and contract development. He produces innovative approaches to complex problems and is known for his commitment and integrity in Enhanced Behavioral Health Services and Therapeutic Foster Care arena. Mel Bwint founded Child and Family Focus, inc. 2001. CFF is a non profit, community based, mental health services agency in Pennsylvania. CFF provides community based mental health services to children and families in their own home. These services include, therapeutic foster and respite care, family based mental health and other evidence based services. Mel Bwint also founded Spectrum Advantage, inc., in 2003 to provide consultative and behavioral health billing services. Aided by the extensive knowledge of Behavioral health programs, Mel Bwint and his staff have been instrumental in helping many agencies understand the importance of developing a working relationship between programs and the billing/fiscal department. This focus elevates Spectrum above the competition. The mission of Spectrum is to partner with providers to improve the claims process, reduce administrative workload and enhance the collection rate.
