· Led the financial statement preparation (FinStats) team from the pilot phase through to a service line within the Assurance Division facilitating work between KPMG Australia and Fiji. · Preparation and review of general purpose financial reports ensuring compliance with accounting standards (AASB). · Took on the role of Team Leader for a 15-member bookkeeping outsourced team. Worked closely with KPMG Australia to build relationships and enhancing communications between members in both regions. · Heavily involved in upskilling the technical and soft skills of the team through trainings. · Virtually seconded to the Tax division at Melbourne office assisting in tax returns and preparation of financial statements for businesses and individuals. · Undertook a virtual secondment to a coal mining company in Sydney performing accounts payable functions including reporting.

· Leading a team of auditors in fulfilling the objectives of audit work plan · Planning and performing external audits with a focus on accounts such as revenue, accounts receivable, inventory and borrowings · Delivering financial reports under strict deadline · Communicating extensively with clients, managers, partner and audit team to address issues and queries.

· Understanding the control environment through discussions with client and testing the operating effectives of controls · Performing substantive testing to verify financial statement balances such as cash and cash equivalents, accruals, prepayments, accounts payables and expenses for manager and partner review · Assisting team leader to prepare client deliverables · Conducting rebate audits as a team leader for Films and TV Series productions and pro-bono audit clients.
