I have 24 years of experience in Finance&Administration: • 12 years in FMCG production (Finance Director at FES UKR&Financial controller at Lutsk Foods) • 6 y in FMCG wholesale ( Finance&Administration Director at SCA Hygiene Ukraine) • 5 y in retail (Reporting Manager at METRO Cash&Carry Ukraine) • 1 y in foundry production (team lead at World Bank project) Experience of start-ups and transformation from representative office to legal entity,business restructuring,systems implementations,cost reduction etc. I got the valuable interpersonal and intercultural communication and presentation skills experience with management of Armenian, German, Russian, British, Swedish, Indian, Asian, African origin. German business helped me to see the importance and efficiency of rules and procedures, showed me that large companies are competing not only by products/service level rather by leadership style, management technologies, procedures and teams. The order, hierarchy, systematic approach, procedures, quick decisions – are the iconic German business competitive advantages. The Swedes acquainted me with work-life balance concept as Swedes believe that only happy people can make successful business. I combine my commercial and financial expertise to develop financial processes, ensuring all activities are underpinned by a robust framework of controls and risk management. I enhance organisational capability by implementing improved processes and systems. I’ve worked with cross-functional teams, improving the skills of both finance and non-finance staff via communications across the organisation through cultural changes. I am results focused an inquisitive nature passionate about using my finance skills to support the growth and development of an organisation, ensuring the data being used by business is correct. I have education in Accounting&Management (Volyn State University,Ukraine & Grant McEwan University, Canada). I am Certified Management Accountant (CMA Certificate #27975) & MBA (NewBrunswick University, Canada). I am the third generation accountant in my family with broad education - that contributed to my attitude and pro-active approach in the business partnership role. I do believe attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference – so as management team member – I challenge not only financial and risk management, but also the deep understanding of product portfolio, customer profile, brand legend, industry KPI benchmark. An attitude is the key to success - thus I engage people to team not because of expertise only, but also because of attitude.
