For us, technical clothing can either be outdoor oriented products or urban wear, the main focus being comfort and protection against the elements. As a retailer, we want to be the reference for what to wear. We play the role of curator, gathering quality brands, and our job is to help our customers select the product that suits them best. We offer products from almost 340 brands, including exclusive collections and limited edition collaborations. Our team of professionals is constantly evolving. It is with this inspired team that we have the means to reach our goals. The business also owns TheLastHunt.com, Canada’s only website entirely dedicated to discounted outdoor gear and apparel, as well as Altitude Blog, one of Canada's largest bilingual blogs where you can find product reviews, follow fashion trends, read up on travel adventures, and much more. We have a brick-and-mortar store in the ski resort town of Mont-Tremblant. Client acquisition through different channels and strategies is a top priority for us. Alongside this, we are constantly searching ways to increase the lifetime value of each segment of customers on Altitude-sports.com and TheLastHunt.com. Furthermore, we manage the products according to their lifecycle by using appropriate sales channels, and customer segments. Finally, handling the evolution of the Altitude Sports brand, which has passed from a small Montreal corner shop in 1984 to a web company of growing importance in the Canadian market in the last 5 years, is of the utmost importance to me. In the end, we make sure to never forget that our business is about providing the proper products to our customers on time, without any hassle, no matter the period of year, conveniently and efficiently. We do this by focusing on the details and making sure our customer service is top notch.

Through my job as marketing director at Altitude-sports.com I ingested a fair amount of information about the world of retail, both online and in-store, as well as about ecommerce. Along the way I made mistakes and learned from each and every one of them. But more importantly I learned how to manage a team of professionals, having them work cohesively to reach our bold goals.

My task was to create and elaborate on the advertising strategy to reach the clients communication and marketing goals. I worked closely with the creative teams, the clients and many external providers to think and produce global integrated advertising campaigns. Main accounts included Loto-Québec, Pizza Hut, KFC, Investors Group, Rockland Center, Canadian Food Banks.
