* Responsible for the tender, award and site establishment and subsequent ongoing project management of multidiscipline contracts associated with the construction of the LNG Facility. * The combined contract values under his area of responsibility were approximately A$720mill. * These encompass; * Heavy Lift & Transport >$230mill * Paint and Insulation >$425mill and * CO2 pipeline and subsurface sequestration facilities >$65mill. * Reports on this project include three scope specific Project Managers, Commercial Manager, Contract Administrators and matrix support groups, HSS, Planning, Cost Control, and Quality. * This role involves the commercial management, schedule establishment and ongoing review, progress reporting, manning, construction coordination, weekly / monthly progress meetings and reporting. * A large component of his day-to-day activities are the interaction with both the Client and each of the Contractor teams including their executive and sponsor level teams from both on and off project.

Responsible for the Supervision of the Engineering Group associated with the design and construction of Dyno Nobels, Moranbah Ammonium Nitrate Plant in Queensland. Project value $750million. Work scheduling, Progress Reporting and Staffing Co-Ordination with an Engineering group of 65 persons, 95,000 hours of design.

Engaged as SPM for the MechElec fit out of the Wheatstone LNG Project Permanent Buildings.

Responsible for the TLK LHPP Kwinana Project and the Talison CGP3 Greenbushes Project.

Responsible for the delivery of the complete scope of work associated with the Pyro Area of the plant consisting of Calciner, Kiln, Mill, and balance of plant. In addition to this, I am responsible for the management of the design and construction for Stage 1 and Stage 2 electrical power and controls. This role involved the commercial management, schedule establishment and ongoing review, progress reporting, manning, construction coordination, weekly / monthly progress meetings and reporting. A large component of his day-to-day activities is the interaction with both the Client and each of the Contractor teams including their executive management and sponsor level teams from both on and off project.

Senior Construction Manager (Acting for 6 months) Engineering Technical Manager (Full Duration of Project) Responsible for the overall management of the activities associated with construction of the LNG Processing Train. During this time numerous negotiations and presentations were undertaken to both EPCM and Client to establish a mitigation plan in order to recover schedule delays due to late delivery of modules from oversees fabrication facilities. This was a period of strong union unrest due to the delays and pressures to achieve project milestones, due to proactive engagement with the workforce and the unions during this period no industrial action was encountered. During the period in which I acted in the role numerous persons were put forward to both the EPCM and the Client for permanent placement in the role but due to the strong progress that was being achieved and the strengthening relationship between Contractor, EPCM and Client they chose to retain me in the role. UGL’s SMP contract was valued at $230million and involved over 850 people on the site.
