I am a very experienced commercial director, with excellent quantity surveying, business management skills and expertise in professional training. With a 33+ years career working for Tier one contractors benefiting from experience in construction, infrastructure and consultancy covering new build, cut & carve, refurbishment, fit out and maintenance in highways, aviation, government works, rail, commercial offices, retail, leisure, healthcare, education and industrial sectors. Over this period I have dealt with the full suite of contracts for JCT and NEC, and bespoke. This includes a number of frameworks and representation on JV Boards with other Tie contractors and consultants. The value of work covered ranges from small day to day activities, to large business units for Tier one contractors and further involvement in their Group wide business. I have been involved in supporting the CIOB for nearly 20 years and I am currently a Fellowship Assessor, including the Membership grade and I am a support provider for ACIOB & ICIOB APEL Assessments and Professional Review and a PDP Assessor. I am also an active assessor over the last five years with the RICS, acting as a Panel Assessor and I am a Chair for these Panels, for the route to Membership. I am an Accredited Mediator with the CIArb, actively using these skills in a pro-active way to try to avoid disputes.
