I also set up and ran a second helpdesk to support our corporate adoption of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud by over 11,000 colleagues. Both helplines were staffed with team members from varied and diverse business areas – many had not previously worked on a helpdesk or in customer facing roles. A thorough support and training environment was necessary to ensure they were comfortable operating outside of their comfort zone which was made particularly challenging with all team members working remotely. ACHIEVEMENTS • Successfully commissioned DocuSign e-Signature to >11,500 colleagues. • Responsible for first line support for adoption of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. • Product Owner for DocuSign e-Signature, Qwil Messenger and Digital Clipboard services. • Developed PowerBI and Salesforce dashboards for service adoption reporting. • Created resource and training plans for first line support helpdesks.

September 2018 to May 2020: Head of Technology – Secondment Rowan Dartington, Wealth Management, Bristol. I had oversight of all aspects of Technology within Rowan Dartington - RD. I defined the technology strategy for and acted to deliver against that strategy. I sponsored new technology projects as well as provide leadership and consultancy for the delivery of business change. My responsibilities also included ensuring both internal and external relationships remain strong and mutually beneficial. I continued to move to a model where SJP Group was a supplier of a number of services and systems. It was absolutely essential that functions such as email, telephony, desktop computing and IT Service Management continue to deliver best value for RD. I was also the owner for a number of 3rd party supplier agreements and established a supplier management regime to monitor performance and service delivery. I successfully consolidated, built on and developed a Bristol based IT function to deliver 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support & infrastructure services to Rowan Dartington. I oversaw the migration of servers and services to Amazon Web Services and replaced all desktop computers. As part of further consolidation, I also facilitated the transition of the Service Desk, Infrastructure and IT Service Management functions to Group IT. December 2016 to September 2018: Head of Group IT Technology Services, St. James’s Place Wealth Management, Cirencester I was responsible for defining, implementing and maintaining SJP’s infrastructure technology strategy as well as ensuring our heritage operational systems were maintained to a high standard. I was accountable for 2nd and 3rd line activities for all SJP’s IT infrastructure including mobile device management, fixed line telephony, messaging, video conferencing, audio visual and personal computing devices. LAN, WAN, WIFI, secure remote access and Internet security were also business critical systems within my remit. My responsibilities included the technology integration of Group acquisitions including The Henley Group in Asia, Technical Connection and Rowan Dartington. These activities included migrating servers and services to Amazon Web Services, replacing computers and migrating email to office 365. I provided thought leadership for SJP’s approach to DevOp’s by combining deployment techniques such as infrastructure as code and the philosophical changes / challenges these new practices bring. People development is fundamental to the way in which I work. I provided coaching and mentoring for technical and leadership skills enabling colleagues to reach their full potential.
