Chinese American entrepreneur and creator based in Shanghai, China. Building bridges between global brands and creators. Helping people learn practical Chinese characters. As an ABC (American-born Chinese), I know how to speak Chinese but I can't read or write. Through my experience living in China, I realized I almost never used the characters I was learning through courses and textbooks. So I decided to build Daily Hanzi, an app that focuses on teaching practical Chinese characters. Things you need to know like navigating apps like TaoBao and Meituan or using maps and reading menus without pictures. Taking away the frustrations many people experience when traveling and living in China. During my time in China, I built a personal brand on social media documenting business, culture, and my life in China reaching 30K+ followers across platforms in 4 months. That experience revealed a major gap between Western brands and China’s creator ecosystem. Now, I’m building China Creator Hub: a community and platform helping brands collaborate with creators through social media, events, and cross-border partnerships.
