Founded the ACSI Young Entrepreneurs Society where I served as its president. I and my team planned large scale events that fostered entrepreneurship among our peers. We also hosted entrepreneurship panels where we invited startups to share their experiences of creating products and overcoming obstacles. We are working towards developing this as a platform where students can freely brainstorm and create life changing products and solutions.

Admitted into the MIT Launch entrepreneurship program where I cofounded Lyfeband. Lyfeband is a wearable IOT ankle bracelet for infants that monitors their body vitals and alerts healthcare workers of unhealthy changes. Lyfeband aims to reduce the workload and resources of healthcare workers in developing countries such as India and Africa.

Lyfeband is a company dedicated towards improving Infant Healthcare throughout the world. Lyfeband is a wearable ankle bracelet to be worn around the infant's ankle and it monitors its body vitals. It provides an early warning system to parents for oxygen related conditions such as bronchitis, pneumonia and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Lyfeband provides parents with those few extra minutes to react , those few extra minutes that could mean the difference between life and death. We at Lyfeband believe that every life saved is another story told, and we would like to write many stories and be part of a bigger one ourselves.

Kinetica – Converting sign language into spoken English With a grant from Rice University awarded to one freshman, I am currently building a wearable glove that will convert American Sign Language (ASL) into spoken English so that deaf/mute individuals can communicate with any member of society without the need of a translator, thus empowering them. Using flex sensors to detect finger positions and Markov chains to predict word sequence, I am developing a system that will convert each signed gesture into their corresponding spoken English word.

Being an entrepreneur, i founded the company BIOKNIKS. BIOKNICS is a bio mechanical company that has designed a product that aims to reduce the degradation of the human knee so as to prolong its life span and alleviate potential injuries. Being a 1 man team, i overlooked the entire process as well was hands on. Every single nut, bolt and screw was designed, 3d printed and tested by hand by me. This tedious process was repeated until a working prototype was completed. This prototype was then sent to 3 elderly people in India for field testing. Their feedback was recorded , collated and the prototype was improved based on these suggestions until i came up with a finished product.

Software developer at Hipmunk -- Involved in developing a data analytical software to gain insights into customer interaction with our product. Helped developed a tool to standardize database queries thus leading to more accurate data acquisition. Familiarity with PostGresSQL, Python and HTML.

Activities and Societies: Football Team

I joined the Young Diplomats Society (YDS) in 2015 as i was interested in the art of public speaking as well as International studies. YDS beautifully encapsulated both these things together into what they call Model United Nations (MUNs) where students become delegates of different countries. They then debate in council and ultimately pass a resolution to solve the issue at hand e.g migration crisis in Europe. I joined the Anglo-Chinese School Prefectorial Board (ACPB) in 2013. After a gruelling 3 day camp to get selected into the board, i finally managed to become a prefect. Being a prefect was one of the greatest choices that i have made. It made me learn good communication and leadership skills. It also made me more of a people's person as my role involved handling students and managing large scale events of over 5000 people.
