Worked on masters’ project ‘Linear and Nonlinear Analysis of Composite & Sandwich Plates subjected to Static and Dynamic Loads using Finite Element Method Formulation’. Static linear and nonlinear, modal analysis, transient, dynamic linear and nonlinear FEA code was developed in Fortran to carryout analysis of composite laminates. Also, crack arrest techniques in engineering structures, dynamic crack principles and importance of life prediction were studied as a part of ‘Fracture Mechanics’ course project. During this time as a teaching assistant, I was preparing and evaluating assignments for undergrad courses.

Designing of Jigs, Fixtures, Special purpose machines and Special Gauges using CAD tools such as Auto CAD and Solidworks. I was going through different machines and their capabilities for machining automotive diesel fuel supply system parts such as filters, pumps and injectors. Then I was designing the tools to suit for a particular machining process. Such tools are used for continuous production, where loading and unloading of the component by operator is important. These tools play important role in determining the machining time of a component.

Matlab program was developed to carryout static and dynamic analysis of composite laminates based on meshless method & FEM. Adaptive strategy in meshless method for plate analysis are implemented and also nonlinearity is accounted for composite structures analysis.
