In my role, I lead and inspire a team of 3 talented recruiters who collectively bring almost 25 years of dedication working at Room & Board. I help build our recruitment strategies but also bring a passion for day to day recruiting and directly manage openings. I partner closely with our internal communications and brand teams as well as outside vendor partners to strengthen and promote our employment brand. I love what I do!

I served on a team of two that led the talent acquisition efforts at Avtex Solutions, LLC, a leading IT consulting firm based in Bloomington, Minn. In this role, I guided senior management in and around talent acquisition strategy in support of the organizational revenue goals and geographic expansion plans.

I honed my leadership in HR, recruiting and branding earning the company a reputation as one of the most respected environmental and public affairs consulting firms in the energy industry. I helped guide the company through double-digit growth and significant organizational and ownership changes as they transitioned from a small start-up to a thriving operation with more than 200 employees across North America. During my 15-year tenure with NRG, I was responsible for creating the firm’s brand and corporate identity, developing human resources and operational best practices, managing national office expansions, overseeing talent acquisition, onboarding, development and retention, and advancing the firm’s reputation in a highly competitive market.
