* The Itapissuma’s Human Resources role was a Generalist position that manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource. The HR Executive manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs in the following functional areas: Recruit and Selection, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Labor relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment. * The Human Resources manager is responsible for all or part of these areas: * recruiting and staffing logistics * performance management and improvement systems * organization development * employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting * employee orientation, development, and training * policy development and documentation * labor relations * company employee communication * compensation and benefits administration * employee safety, welfare, wellness and health * and * employee services and counseling.

Manages Labor Relations Center of Expertise area to Alcoa’s operations at Latin America and Caribbean developing projects, programs and policies. Advises Business Based HR Managers and Business leaders in development, application, and interpretation of labor relations policies and practices, according to policy formulated by Alcoa, also labor market good practices. Prepares statistical reports, using records of actions taken concerning grievances, arbitration and mediation cases, and related labor relations activities, to identify opportunities or problem areas. Furnishes information, such as reference documents and statistical data concerning labor legislation, labor market conditions, prevailing union and management practices. Represent Alcoa in labor contract negotiations. Analyzes collective bargaining agreement to develop interpretation of intent, spirit, and terms of contract.
