Operations Manager

Reporting directly to company’s founder Savino Maffei and general manager Ignazio Maffei, head of site operations (dedicated to the production of fresh pasta) with full responsibility of HR, EH&S, production, maintenance, manufacturing engineering, planning and logistics. I have defined and implemented industrial policies to ensure the best coordination between the different phases of the supply chain (from the procurement of raw materials to the delivery of the finished product), ensuring the best customer service and focusing on process reliability, productivity and cost containment, in compliance with the regulations on health and safety in the workplace, quality and food safety (HACCP) and the environment. Main projects completed during this work experience were: • the expansion of the finished product warehouse from 2.000 to 2.400 pallet places; • the brown-field construction of a new factory with two production lines with a total output of 30.000 kg/day; • the implementation of a new cogeneration plant for the production of 3.000 kg/h of steam (thermal energy) and 600 kWh/el (electric energy); • zero injuries in 2019 e 2020 (vs three events in 2018).

"New layout of the Bagnolo in Piano plant" project for EOS (Emak Operative System) implementation with definition of a new logistic and production model.
