Reporting directly to company’s founder Savino Maffei and general manager Ignazio Maffei, head of site operations (dedicated to the production of fresh pasta) with full responsibility of HR, EH&S, production, maintenance, manufacturing engineering, planning and logistics. I have defined and implemented industrial policies to ensure the best coordination between the different phases of the supply chain (from the procurement of raw materials to the delivery of the finished product), ensuring the best customer service and focusing on process reliability, productivity and cost containment, in compliance with the regulations on health and safety in the workplace, quality and food safety (HACCP) and the environment. Main projects completed during this work experience were: • the expansion of the finished product warehouse from 2.000 to 2.400 pallet places; • the brown-field construction of a new factory with two production lines with a total output of 30.000 kg/day; • the implementation of a new cogeneration plant for the production of 3.000 kg/h of steam (thermal energy) and 600 kWh/el (electric energy); • zero injuries in 2019 e 2020 (vs three events in 2018).

In charge of P&L about one of eight company plants (5 in Italy, 2 in China and 1 in India) dedicated to the production of rotary rakes, cutter bars, gearboxes assy, planetary drive wheels and wind turbine generators. The organization is hierarchically composed by environment, health and safety, production, quality, logistic, continuous improvement, industrial engineering and maintenance. Plant controller, administration manager and HR business partner functionally report to me. Main topics: coordination and organization of plant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety, continuous improvement, budget negotiation, cost monitoring and industrial relations with trade unions (in cooperation with HRBP). The structure is composed by production, quality, logistics, supply-chain, industrial engineering and maintenance (+ 3 external consultants for health, safety and environment). Main topics: coordination and organization of plant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety, continuous improvement, budget negotiation, cost monitoring and industrial relations with trade unions. Direct reporting to Outdoor Power Equipment Emak B.U. Industrial Deputy General Manager. Overall responsibility: 6 white collars, 70 blue collars (with about +50 temporary workers in the pick of the production season), 1 Mio€ OPEX and CAPEX budgets. Direct responsibility: 1 Quality Manager, 3 Workshop Managers, 1 Warehouse Manager, 1 Supply-Chain Manager, 1 Industrial Engineering and Maintenance Manager.

Reporting directly to Operations Director, I was in charge of continuous improvement strategy focused on safety, quality, time delivery, competitiveness (space, stock and productivity) and people involvement for Outdoor Power Equipment Business Unit (4 plants: 2 in Italy and 2 in China). "New layout of the Bagnolo in Piano plant"​ project for EOS (Emak Operative System) implementation with definition of a new logistic and production model. Some achieved results: - Shopfloor area -44% - Warehouse area -19% - Productivity from +13% to +25% (depending by production lines) - Finished machines stock -46% - 6 new "one-piece flow" production lines - Trained about 70 blue collars and 25 white collars

In the testing division I had the task to set up, develop and optimize manufacturing processes with the aim of achieving the expected cost industry standards and maximizing the productivity of labor and equipment. Through close collaboration with technical department (sited in Unterneukirchen - Germany), I evaluated the feasibility of product development projects by identifying the best solutions in line with the objectives of cost, process technologies available and the requests of customers. I promoted the efficiency of cycle time, production flows and the best choices between internal or external production. I presided over the drafting of the bill of production and the creation of all the procedures and assembling instructions. Two kaizen weeks in testing area with Shingijutsu sensei's support (Mr. Koki Takahashi).

Target: providing all the technical and management knowledges in products development with complex geometrical shapes and compositions.
